Brighton, like many towns and cities, has a lot of graffiti
and tagging to contend with, but it also has a growing number of examples
of excellent graffiti art. The above photo shows a part of the artwork
on the walls of two car parks - a couple of derelict spaces that have
been tarmaced and where the gable walls are exposed. The artwork certainly
lifts the street, a rather drab place. The Brighton Fringe has its offices
in the converted building that once housed the printing presses of the
local paper. There might be a connection.
