The Childrens's Parade kicks off the Brighton Festival. It's a great event for primary school children and their parents from all over Brighton & Hove and beyond, and is held on the first Saturday of the festival. True, there aren't any children in this shot; they're below the camera view. And I'm not even sure which school built this float. But it was a great one - one of many.
