At this section the
seawall is quite narrow and on a rough day a wave can easily
cross the width of the wall, taking walkers unawares! Mostly
it is only spray. But if the wind is strong enough, and the
wave is powerful enough, it can through up a lot of shingle,
including fist size pebbles.
