Mobile climbing wall

Fun for the Kids

The PatchFest had lots of things for children to do, and they loved it! And I was quite envious. The star attraction for me was the mobile climbing wall, which I'd never seen before - fantastic! - closely followed by the Spaceball (see later page), which some might think was actually a torture chamber.

Each child on the climbing wall wore a safety harness which allowed them to safely and fearlessly explore the cliff face. There was expert advice on hand to guide them up the cliff face as high as they dared.

There were also bouncy castles, football, and a good many stalls selling this and that.
