It's an incredible story. A football club sells its stadium and leaves itself homeless. How stupid. Even more stupid was that the land was sold on again by the new owners for many more millions than they paid for it.

That's the most disgraceful episode in the history of the Seagulls, hopefully never to be repeated.

And hopefully the club will one day move into a new community stadium at Falmer. There is still some way to go.
